Grant joined the Housing Justice Center in 2026 as Special Counsel for Federal Response. Prior to joining the Housing Justice Center, he was an attorney with global law firm Mayer Brown LLP, where his practice focused on complex public infrastructure projects, affordable housing, and various public and political law matters. Grant earned his JD from Harvard Law School, where he worked as a research assistant for the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative and gained experience as a law clerk with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office and the Office of Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker. Before attending law school, Grant served as Chief Executive Officer of Boys & Girls Club organizations in Illinois and California. He is also a proud AmeriCorps VISTA alum, having served with Project for Pride in Living in Minneapolis.
