Fadumo Mohamed is a rising leader in housing justice and public policy, with a strong background in grassroots organizing and advocacy. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, where she focuses on equitable housing and inclusive urban development.

Before graduate school, Fadumo worked as a housing organizer, partnering with tenants, community groups, and policymakers to advance affordable housing and prevent displacement. Her work emphasized coalition-building, elevating resident voices, and shaping policies rooted in lived experience.

Fadumo brings a systems-level perspective to housing reform, combining policy analysis with community engagement. She has collaborated with local governments and nonprofit organizations to promote solutions like tenant protections. She is passionate about crafting policies that ensure safe, stable, and dignified housing for all.
