Anne joined the Housing Justice Center in 2025 and became the Co-Executive Director in June of 2026. Anne has significant experience and expertise in affordable housing law and policy. Prior to joining the Housing Justice Center she served in the Office of General Counsel with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and served as General Counsel to the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency. She also litigated cases to preserve federally subsidized housing and protect tenant rights in Washington, D.C. with the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless, supervised legal clinics with the George Washington School of Law and American University School of Law, and oversaw pro bono programs with the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center. Anne is a graduate of the George Washington University School of Law and Kenyon College.
